There's nothing between us and heaven. There's nothing at all.
The illumination of the fleet. If you have not hear/read, you should pure poetry in motion
Tamagawa and Back
Followed Tamagawa dori from shibuya almost all the way down to the river, with a little detour along this little brook. It was good, follow the express way is not the most scenic of routes, but it makes it easier to navigate without a map (or the Polish Pathfinder). I spotted a few koi in the ponds, not too impressive, but lots of fun flowers, bushes and water plants. If the parents come visit again, they will have to do this part of the walk.
The rules man! The rules! First of all, in case of heavy rain, or maintenance the water will not flow. Secondly, don't drop off fish here. Thirdly, don't drink the water. Check, had all 3 of them under control.
Oh, no... there's more. Don't ride bicycles or motor bikes along the walk way. Do not step into the river. Bring your rubbish with you. And if you have a dog, keep it on a leash and pick up after it. Did follow them too. There were more signs, but I thought this was enough with rules for one day.
Where Tamagawa dori met the river, I turned. They are doing quite a lot of construction work down there. Will probably be very pretty in a year or so. Followed the construction site along the river... the street became more and more narrow... Walked past a very cute cafe, now dirt road... then grass... 立ち入り禁止 (do not enter) my ass! I climbed a small fence; if they really want you to stay out, they have to make them taller I say! It all turned out very well, and a few hundred meters later there were a perfectly good (and abunai man guarded) down slope towards the path along the river.
I should have brought the camera... both white and normal heron where hanging about.
Continue to walk along tamagawa until the bridge where shinkansen crosses, then followed the road up towards Gotanda. In Gotanda, by megurogawa I turned, walked to meguro and up to the station. Then cheated, took the train 2 stations to shibuya... but mum, 31800 steps...

Mt Takao
After the train travel; we got lots of changes for the money, we finally ended up at Takaosanguchi. Main stream route (1) upwards and then something else down. Takaosan - Let's go.
The chair lift was not crowded, but let me assure you that the attendants still were very alert and precise in their instructions. stand here, walk on belt now, sit down... Very time critical activity, getting seated in the chair lift. Everything could have gone wrong, luckily we made it safely all the way up. Or at least a little bit up, since the chair lift does not go all the way.
Look at the lovely view!
Temple guard of some sort. He looks very angry, we better behave.
A skulk of foxes ready to ward off evil.
Pretty flower.
We would not like to go jogging here. Others did.
Another flower.
The water fall was not impressive. And I removed to photo. Here are some water further down stream.
Very tall tree.
I used the filter, pouring rain in Shinjuku, while taking this photo out of the korean restaurant's window.

Shibuya - Akabane walk
It probably took around 4 hours, but was nice being out in the sun. Hopefully, I did not burn myself too much.
Dead but pretty butterfly.
Alive and pretty cat.
Infrastructure
A river somewhere close to Nakano.
Look closely, another cat is resting on the wall. Should really have brought the good camera and the good lens.
Bamboo
And some small buddahs.
Dead but pretty butterfly.
Is your mother the best mother in the world?
You might be right, if you name is Sara Bonde that is! Other than that, I'm sorry, my mum is the best. July 23 i my "namnsdag" in Sweden, that means that according to the Swedish calender it is the day to celebrate everyone that is named Emma. I got a package from my mum (and dad and grandmother too) containing swedish candy (that I will bring to the office, since I know who looooves bilar) and cross-word puzzles that I love.

60's Feel to it
Were really just supposed to take a few photos to show what the hair looks like after today's visit at Dejima's (Yes, Tati, the massage was nice). But then I just got the urge to add some Technicolour feel to it.

I think I like this one the best, please note the sweat on my chin.

I can look happy too.

21201 Steps Later
Yesterday I told my mum that I had been out walking. She asked me how many steps. I did not know. Today, I turned on the step counter, but did not walk the same way. First I went to the shoe shop and handed in a pair of shoes, that made me sound like a pirate and walk like a pirate that had just a little bit too much rum.
Then I walked through yoyogi, up to Harajuku, down omotosando (got myself a new Anna Sui lip gloss), walked down to Nezu museum, that was closed. I should have thought about that since it is Monday and all. Turned to Aoyama instead, and crossed the cemetery. 墓地 learned a new word, that not surprisingly means cemetery. Come to think of it, I learnt a new word yesterday too. "自転車は歩行者の迷惑にならないように走りましょう” - Let's ride bicycles in away that we are not annoying the pedestrians. It was the 'meiwaku' - annoyance, that I learnt. Will use it often.
Then headed toward midtown and Roppongi. Contrary to popular believes, Roppongi do exist during day-time, and does not materialises after dark. See proof below.
Then continued towards Tokyo Tower and the Zoujouji temple with Jizou statues.
Then towards the Rainbow bridge, and over it.

Then back home, picking up my shoes and some beans soup ingredients.
