So Close

To start a long rant about Japanese umbrella habit; one drop of rain and it is a must. When not raining, waving them back and forth while walking. It is a miracle that not more kasa casualties are reported in Tokyo on rainy days.

But then, one of those "I cannot walk straight even if my life depended on it" (and just as a warning someday it could very well come to that) walked into me when I passed by her. I think she got a little bit scared herself (good!) and then I got a long gomeeeenasai, sumimasen!!!" Which made me smile. So all good. And then at the 24 hour open store with a brilliant selection (for ex, the have feta cheese), the service was splendid as usual.

Walking to Yokohama

30847 steps later... I'm home again. Took us 3h 45min this time, following route 1 out of Tokyo.

Then took the train back to shingawa and shibuya. Went shopping and got a very big smile form a western looking boy looking at my t-shirt. However, this shirt is not on the approved clothes list provided by the Polish Fashion Association.

I should so be moving some place where the sun always shine... rainy weather puts me in a crappy mood. Today... unmotivated, annoyed, thinking slowly... stupid rain!

But had a good day.

1. Met a really cute whipet just outside my flat, when going to the office.
2. Worked for 2 hours, and got more things done then I some times do in a whole day.
3. Very nice lunch break, with a koi-drawing man.
4. Good afternoon at the office.
5. Got out around 7pm, went to Muji, got some more boxes... more sorting out on the loft.

Went out for a walk, came home with 5 new books... I'm starting to think it is impossibe to go to tower records without buying anything...

浜離宮恩庭園

When I did yoga in Sweden, during relaxation part where you were supposed to think of that calm, peaceful place where you are in complete balance... then in my mind, I am in Hamarikyuonteien. Today, was almost as good. The sun was shining, the flowers, lawn and pine trees smelled lovely. Only mistake was to leave the good lens at home, difficult to get good photos of birds and people with a fixed lens, at least if you don't want to scare them.








Then after a few hours I decided to go for a little walk, shinbashi, down to tokyo tower and very close to Atago Green Hills I came a cross a cute little shrine with a koi pond. Koi are probably the most photogenic fishes in the world, just look how the sun and water reflexions plays with their lovely colours.








Then did the Roppongi, Midtown, Aoyama, Omotosando walk home. Should have worn other shoes but the weather was so nice, had no choice.
