Tokyo or Manchester

Red and White

The waiter at wine and delicates could not decide which of them he liked best... so I got to try both of them:).

Lillie and Linnea

Lovely dinner, with wonderful friends.

Surfs up!

Above my bed...

Back with my boys

On a madras in my/daniel's flat playing with the cats. They do not seem to hate me that much and their gifts fitted well; jeans vests will be the hottest thing for cats come spring.

The trip back to Copenhagen and Malmö went well. I was even picked up with car in Malmö and driven home to Lund. That was nice. It feels good that somebody meets you when you come home from a trip.

I will blog photos tomorrow, I guess... now time to turn off light before Daniel-san gets upset....

Miho

Bruce "Honda" Lee

Lots of food... a power pose is needed before attacking the plate. And I'm also looking forward seeing his photos form the trip... 2 days and probably over 200 photos :)

Waiting for the Train

Only 20 min wait and 10 min delay. I love to be back in Europe!

Only dolls, but still... someone thought it looked a bit like Amsterdam.

Time Difference on My Side

I feel a bit tired and should probably sleep an hour more, but even if I do so It will still only be 6.48. From now on, all those weekends that before have been classifed as a waste of time due to me sleeping until 3 in the afternoon after being out partying until 5 am, will be seen as jet lag pratice. And you know what? I'm not the slightest hung over today...

Is this the bliss before the blitz; the calm before the storm? I will probably be begging for a my bed in 12 hours, and I might just still be in the office then.

There will be photos uploaded later, but I cannot be bothered just now.

Copenhagen Airport

There is this theory in Pattern Recognition that I’m currently reading that the soul does not travel as fast as the body, leaving the body in a state of soullessness and general confusion, also know as jet lag; and it is not my best friend at all. However, it explains things in a rather amusing way. I have for a long time felt that I was able to think clearer and that something that normally limits my trail of thoughts were lifted from me while flying long distances. It might of cause also be that I’m forced to spend 10-11 hours in my own company that finally get through to myself, me wanting it or not. But the thought of my soul lagging after is far much appealing to me, in my current generally confused state.

I also have experienced that jet lag sets off a state of depression in me, but this normally does not set in until after one or two days, and might very well be due to sleep deprivation which hits me like a brick wall.

This all said, I normally enjoy flying, and having to spend time thinking, and normally I come to really good conclusions about things. There is something about being above the clouds for hours that makes me see able to see what is important.

Incase you wonder about the order of the blog posts, this text written there but blogged from my hotel room in Manchester...

Thinking of You

Don't stop Believing

Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming

Me and Mathias

Today we had a late and relaxed breakfast (maybe brunch is more like it) together at Good Honest Grub between Ebisu and Shibuya. I think it might be very close to be located just in the middle between our flats, which is quite convenient. I'm looking forward to more lazy weekend brunches there.

Me and Mathias is preparing for christmas at omotesando, a chrismas without chrismas-splitter Emelie (apperently Hawaii is a hotter option than we are).

Yes, I mean no... I will not stand in line to shop at stupid H&M; but lots of other people were willing to. We went to Tornado Mart instead.

Afternoon beer at Macau, just across the street from my nail place, while waiting for the clock to strike 3. I wonder why I look so happy?

This was the best photo I managed to get of him. He's more difficult than a cat, moving around all the time.

Gold Finger

A two hour Japanese lesson priced at 6500 yen a hour, and in addition to his leaves you with pretty pretty nails. I have Japanese colleagues that pays 7000 yen for one hour English conversation class; yes I write this to justify this new habit of mine.

I wonder who Moa is, and if people is following the imperative... However, the nail salon at Odaiba called "Nail Me" is so far the ruling champion, name wise. In Sweden hair places have silly names (like "Hair och där", "Saxofön" etc) but I think nail salons have a great opportunity to just go ahead and exploit this.

Boss Stretching

Lesson 2 of Kado

Today was 2nd time for my Kado class. I missed the train with 1 minute, but there was another one leaving 10 min later, Tokyo is lovely that way.

Sensei and Aki-chan is fixing Aki's arrangement.

My flowers, not too happy with the red twigs. Looks like a someone trimmed a bush with a lawnmower.
The blue-prints, or more correctly my notes from today's exercise.

Miho's art.

I rearranged the flowers when I got home. Looked better this way actually.

And my neighbours will have something pretty to look at :).

Fixie Bar in Nakamerguo

Daniel when you are visiting, I will bring you to this place. Very cozy bar, with nice atmosphere and the bar tender was talking about bicycles, there were frames hanging as decoration in the ceiling and then someone came carrying another fixie up the stairs. I might have come a cross a Fashionable Foreigner's Fixie Bar.

For the Mother

It only took so long, but now she finally got her birthday gift. I'm very happy that she liked this nice Anna Sui wallet... It is so pretty I almost wanted to keep it.
