One More for the little Man of My life

I want them all, and I want them to be just like the little wonder that I have left behind in Sweden... playful, intelligent, curious, affectionate, soft, warm, cuddly, worried, brave, photogenic, developing, relaxing, inspiring... come to think of it the characteristics I like about Aron, are things I want to achieve myself...

I will do my best to do him proud.

There was only one little one

He made me smile, he taught me that serano ham is not that bad, he together with his best friend Mint were at times the only thing that made me pull myself together and go outside, he had the softest fur, the cutest fangs, the most adorable silent cry. A very little cat, with a huge personality. I'm very happy for every second that I got with him, and for have been allowed to share him with so many people.

Hiroshima Memorials

Weekending with my X-Man

Me and Magnus took the early morning train out of Tokyo. 4 hours of Shinkansen brought us to Hiroshima station. Then a taxi to the hotel, check-in, and then walking over to the close by atom bomb memorial park. Strangely peaceful, so many questions. Walk up to the re-built castle, apparently it did not catch fire that fatal morning in August 1945, but the pressure wave turned it in to stone and wooden debris.

Then there was a heavy rain shower, I wanted to go to the koen, but we decided to do waffles and coffee instead. Wise decision. Then back to the hotel, slept for a few hours. Then time to walk through down town. Some what shady red-light district, but found some food, and enjoyed the neon. Then back to the hotel... spider man 1 was on. I fell asleep.

Alarm went off at 7. Waffle breakfast with fruit at a near by coffee place, then boat out to Miyajima. I want to go back, even if a deer eat parts of my map, a monkey with a big red scrotum made me afraid of monkeys for the first time in my life (first thought, how does the other monkeys signal that thy are submissive to the big male and avoids confrontation.. second thought.. I do NOT want that monkey to think he is above me!!!), and then on the way back from "...is this burning, an eternal flame?" aka Bangles shrine, we almost step on a black snake... "be aware of venomous snakes" said the sign at the rope way landing station.

Went back down, had coffee again, boat back to Miyajimaguchi, then train back to Hiroshima, up on the roof top of a mall. Splendid view, then shinkansen back to the home town.

Dinner at a Japanese place on my street. Very tasty. Now I'm trying to upload photos, while da-man is wikipediaing atom bombs, and waiting for tonight F1 event to start.
