Mz B Live at the Budokan

What is it with me and good looking boys?? I'm so easily tempted into the weirdest things, I simply cannot say no to them. Today I visit McDonalds for the first times in years. Had a fish burger and some fries.

Then we were off to Nippon Budokan to listen and look at Judas Priest. I must say the show was above all expectations, even though I did not know that many songs, I still enjoyed it. And Mr Halford still knows how to sing.

Well, if I should make a serious effort on getting into the bootleg market, then I for sure should get myself some better tools... Can you even guess what song it is?

Cat Call

My cats are very clever, they know how to call me using Skype video calls. (yes and it is the middle of Night here in Tokyo when I'm blogging this...woke up an hour ago and seem to have trouble going back to sleep again... the cats did not call in the middle of the night...they called earlier).

And look, they are even teaching my mother how to use the web cam.

Guess What I Bought...

The missing link will be delivered on Tuesday after 8 pm.

Sumo Summary - Big Butts

Indian Festival

Me and Emelie went up to Yoyogi and the indian festival. I bought 2 bracelets, and we tried 3 different vegetarian dishes and fresh mango juice. Oishiiiiiii...

Please notice that is winter now in Tokyo, I wear my new scarfs. I heard people complaining that it was samuiiii (cold), Emelie thought it was perfect t-shirt/shorts weather, but took Jeans to avoid strange looks from the natives.

Spot On

If you haven't heard anything form S. Twain for a while, the reason might be that she's hiding out in Ebisu. This girl was spotted (pun intended) at the Italian place near the video store.

Temporal Floor

We are moving floors at the office, but will first move to a temporal floor and then to the permanent one.

It is going to be interesting to stay at a temporal floor, I hope it will feel like working onboard the starship Enterprise or at the top floor at Wolfram & Hart, Attorneys at Law.

Main Entry: 1tem·po·ral
Pronunciation: \ˈtem-p(ə-)rəl\
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French temporel, from Latin temporalis, from tempor-, tempus time
Date: 14th century
1 a: of or relating to time as opposed to eternity b: of or relating to earthly life c: lay or secular rather than clerical or sacred : civil
2: of or relating to grammatical tense or a distinction of time
3 a: of or relating to time as distinguished from space b: of or relating to the sequence of time or to a particular time : chronological

And please don't tell me that he meant temporary, then everything will be ruined.

The Oyster Club

Today I had a really bad day at the office, I'm basically just waiting for things to change and I am extremely under stimulated. Feels like my brain is entering some coma mode just to get through the day.

The first good thing that happened was that me and Mathias manage to buy tickets for the Judas Priest concert on Monday. Looking forward to it, and it will be fun hanging out with him.

But then, when I saw her smile at the platform at Yoyogi station, all thoughts about work went away. :) I went out for Oysters and bubbly wine in shinjuku with 2 girls that I met at a going away party a while back. Very talkative and open girls, I'm already looking forward to next time. I kind of knew but still it is fun to find out that there are other girls in Tokyo that makes you feel almost like you were out on dinner with your girls from back home. Linnea, Lillie, Lisa, Jessica and Kinga I hope that I will be able some day to introduce you to Anna and Kazuko, maybe over a glass of champagne and some raw oysters.

I never thought I would hear myself saying it, 2 weeks back it would have sounded insane even, I'm and oyster fan! I'm so happy that I was convinced to try it the other week.

Anna. Yes, yet another Anna. There are so many of them, and so far the one that I know, they are all so good. (and pretty) :).

Kazuko fiddling with her camera, to get good photos of the oysters and of me and Anna.

Thank you girls for a very fun and relaxing evening with lots of talking, a few raw sea creatures and a glass of bubbling wine!

Sumo

Today was the day that it happened; Sumo show down for us. One Chinese, one Japanese and 3 Swedes. And I do apologise for my indecisiveness when it comes to select photos. I should have picked at a maximum 3 to illustrate this blog post but I was tired, and for some peculiar reason there were 193 photos waiting in my canon.... that does not happen too often... I'm usually way too more picky at an early stage...

Betsy Pink Wallet

I bought it a while back, but Anna made me realize that I had not blogged it. How ever could that have happened?

Don't be Negative

Being negative and liking it. Mostly because this is the only photo editing effect my Japanese phone is capable of doing, but still pretty cool... :)

New Lens

In preparation for tomorrows sumo game, I bought this little one. Keep on forgetting what it is called but 70-200 mm something with IS. I cheapened out a bit and bought one that was not that light sensitive... but look I got a cute little bag... and also the points I got at biccamera I spent on a new battery for the PowerBook.... now I do not have to be attached to the power outlet all the time (I mean the computer doesn't need to be, I should have avoided it before, and will do my best avoiding it in the future too.

And some random photos taken with the lens.

Big in Japan

Moving to the next aisle we have arachnida, the spiders, our.. finest collection. This friendly little devil is the heptothilidi, unfortunately harmless. Next to him, the nasty licosa raptoria, his tiny fangs cause creeping ulcerations of the skin *laugh*. And here, my prize, the Black Widow. Isn't she lovely?.. and so deadly. Her kiss is fifteen times as poisonous as that of the rattlesnake. You see her venom is highly neurotoxic, which is to say that it attacks the central nervous system causing intense pain, profuse sweating, difficulty in breathing, loss of consciousness, violent convulsions and, finally.. death. You know I think what I love the most about her is her inborn need to dominate, possess. In fact, immediately after the consummation of her marriage to the smaller and weaker male of the species she kills and eats him - *laugh* oh, she is delicious.. and I hope he was! Such power and dignity - unhampered by sentiment. If I may put forward a slice of personal philosophy, I feel that man has ruled this world as a stumbling demented child-king long enough! And as his empire crumbles, my precious Black Widow shall rise as his most fitting successor!

Went to see Wanted together with Itoko today. Very actiony action movie. And as one does in Tokyo, a glass of champagne after the movie is never wrong.

Yes, I felt it, but it did not feel like a very strong one, and did not last for more than a few seconds, at least not in my flat. But I guess, people living higher up might have started the rock a bit more.

Taking it Slow

Slept from 11pm to 1pm, that is correct. Then tried to sort out stuff that was seemingly thrown randomly across my flat; the randomness is only a facade, the pattern is called laziness and just coming home to sleep and change clothes.

But today I spent almost all day here, with the exception of a little walk down to Kinokuniya to get Soup supplies.

Now, back to the sofa and reading Cawaii magazine and maybe do some DSing; Ourendan, mario, puzzle game or Kanji game... that is the question.... or maybe just taking a little nap.

Night Time View

It was hot at the bar called Piano, so they kept the windows open.

Slut Bag

Based on empirical, need to be admitted yet slightly anecdotal, studies during the now world known "girly project", I established a thesis; the bigger bag the sluttier girl... To a novice like me, most items in a handbag were there to facilitate smooth coverups for spending the night at places that you shouldn't, or well you should but you neccessarily don't want to broad cast to the whole office the morning after, with your hair styled ala "knullrufs" and no make-up left on your face.

A cluster of girls with up-sized bags, in Shibuya.

Oyster Virginity Taken

Linus convinced me that it was time for me, and today at lunch it happened. And I liked it a lot... tasted like a chilly ocean breeze....
