小石川後楽園 Again

Stolen Photos

I walked home, but luckily Aunty Ingrid was there to take a photo of my dad and some girls in Yoyogi.

Pretty Nice View

...for a bath. As a bonus you have full control of traffic on 黄浦江 (Huangpu). The view is extra nice if you don't read too much about the river on wikipedia "Shanghai gets most of its drinking water from the Huangpu, and dumps most of its sewage into it [...]"  or "In February and March 2013, thousands of pig carcasses were found floating in the Huangpu River in Shanghai. Some of the pigs carried ear tags saying they were from Jiaxing, so that city in Zhejiang may be the source; however local farmers deny that."

I did not see any pigs, but I saw lots of pilot boats helping big boats around the bend.

Low Waters and Tall Buildings

...and a Magnus and a lunch too.

and even more Shanghai

The 2nd Dinner

And then, the day after, we got to go out to to ChenChen's parent's place and enjoy some really tasty Chinese food. And I seriously regret I was lazy and did not bring the real camera...

The chef's team really looked like they knew what they were doing...

Preparation of the dining hall.

Bowl full of fish... this is going to be god.

Was cold and rainy when we get there, but we got hot tea, and then we we're all good again.

The girls are playing.

Food, this one very sweet rice based. Brilliant desert.

CC's relatives are enjoying dinner.

Something funny going on at the table next to mine. This could be when Helge is enjoying the best frog leg ever (or at least since the nite before).

I did not try the pork steak, or the lamb, but those who did, were not disappointed at all.

:)

Really nice crab... by this point I was super full, but did my best to fill up even more.

And yes, here is the fish a few hours later...

Then some drinks, some smoking and time to go back to Shanghai.

And then there were more photos from the wedding day...

And for those of you who just thought...hmmm... interesting food, I want more food! You ain't seen nuffin' yet!
