My Sunshine

They make me smile, they make me warm, the make me feel loved, they make me happy, and the thought of leaving them breaks my heart over and over again. There will probably be video cameras set up so I can see what they are doing, and vice versa.

And just look at the photo of Aron, he is picture perfect! Every move he makes is a new pose. And Mint my little tiger.

Visiting my hood to be

Or what I hope is my hood to be. It's called Tomigaya and is somewhere approx 15 min walk from Shibuya and Harajuku station. Did not find the house but the area seemed nice. Met a lady with 3 small dogs in a pram. Crazy dog lady. They were cute, and I petted them.

Stone dog guarding a small temple.

Got myself a new bag in shibuya. I hope it will be okay:ed by Anna, she's the expert.

I also found a place close to Gotanda today, where you can get a small sculpture of your cat, if you give them a photo of it. Only 6000yen :).

Lunch

Half way through my shopping tour.

Champagne

Champagne bar in Ebisu. 2 glass champagne, one royal mojito, 2 pieces of chocolate, grilled salmon, dessert pizza with marmelade, apple and camenbert cheeze. 9000yen, and worth it :).

Crayfish Pasta

Had lunch with Tatiana today. It was very nice. It feels really good that she is so positive and happy about me coming over. I hope I will live up to their expectations.

Also good news of today, Noriko, my relocation support lady will apply for the pretty pretty flat tomorrow. And she have checked with the owners' too. They where a bit worried about how to communicate with me but she told them I spoke perfect Japanese; which is nothing short of a lie, but still, I'll think we can handle it.

I'm in love!

This is a realstate from linea, that my relocation agency normaly not deal with, but tomorrow I will beg them to start doing that.

Best so far

I'm soooo tired right now, and dizzy and car sick. Spent the better part of the afternoon riding around in Tokyo checking out flats. The best so far is this one. It has a tiny living room, but a lovely view and is super close to Ebisu staion.

There was one in Harajuku too that were nice, it had a neko no hitai (cat's forhead sized garden, that you were allowed to go out in. And it felt spacious. Tempting as it might be, I do not I have the engery to turn into a Harajuku girl fulltime.

Met my team today as well. They seem nice. And I had lunch with Brian which was nice too. Hopefully there will be some playing tomorrow.

Unleashed in the East

First of all, today is much better than yesterday. It is good that Ch-chan have time to play with me. Did a few things that were new to him, and a few things that were new for me. All in all, alles gut.

Japanese IDOLS were placed on a glass box outside Aki station.

It is so colourful and so cute and just lovely. Visit the 6 floor adult toys shop in Akihabara today, and was in awe over how much stuff there is and how it is marketed. And all those outfits, sweet stuff.

Then we went for a walk in Aki. One should try and find a new weird hobby to spend money on. The best suggestion today was actually to cover my back in expensive tattoos. A not so good was to buy lots of security cams and build a "panic room" in the walk-in closet.

Tried a new thing today, conveyer belt sushi. A breakfast for champions, sorry Shampions (as it should be spelled according to the menu at this evening's resturant).

Next stop Suidobashi and Tokyo Dome. Thunder Dolphine is the name, roller coster the game. Lots of fun.

Koi in the Pond

A desktop wallpaper photo (full size image availible on request :))

Sitting Duck

Turtles, dad you should buy a few for your pond! They are so curious on what is happening.
Is it only I who get a certain Michelangelo vib from this one? Look closely at his claws btw.

There are just so much stuff you can buy in Tokyo. I will shop until I drop when I move here.

La Boheme, old classic, but tried a new location.

Ebisu station by night.

Don't know what it means, but bought this t-shirt for myself today. First pink t-shirt ever I think.

That was all for today. Going to bed now.

"Lost in Translation"-ing

I have been complaining on that girl over and over again; why is she complaining? She's in Tokyo for Pete's sake; etc. But now I know, her being all messed up has nothing to do with her BF or being in Tokyo per se. She's just caught in Hotel-Hell. I hate staying at hotels. Don't know why, but they make me claustrophobic.

Rainy night in Tokyo.

Mz B is hanging out by the window.

This is me today, and parts of the room.

I have one of those Mz B is pretty days, except for the fact that I'm of cause fat since I'm in Japan. And one more thing, I do not know how it is possible but I should have brought more clothes. That seldom happens, you tend to get back home with only half of the items used. Might even have to buy some today. Don't know if Akihab will provide me with that possibility though. On the other hand Ch-chan lives in Daikinyama (dai-kin-tama :)).

And yes I'm slightly futsukayoi. There will be rules about drinking during weeks day... btw a Absolut vodka is 1200yen, if you can't be bothered to go to forex.se and get it converted, it is about 60SEK.

And another thing, I should not really complain that much on the hotel, service is brilliant at least when comparing to Sweden. The girl that helped me up to the room with the bags, was super cute. She had lived in France and then visit Norway during winter, and guess... Samuiiiiii :). She spoke only Japanese to me, that was nice.

Well, that Christian should be out of the shower by now. Ah one more thing, that special chlorine smell when you shower, also made me feel at home.

Toilets

Making nosie when I pee, offers to flush me bottoms... God or Bad? you be the judge!

Today In short

Plane left on time from Copenhagen. Happend to get a seat beside a really nice guy, he had been in Stockholm on an interview from Osaka, for a post-doc, something to do with simulated proteins' behaviour. I probably slept for like 4 hours.. which should be considered a good night's sleep, when the circumstances are a small seat on an intercontinental flight.

Arrived at Narita on time, was worried about how it would feel. It felt okay.

Bought a cold tea on Narita, while waiting for the train. It was nice, the tastes of Japan makes me smile. Tryed to check in but it was too early. Walked over to Osaki, sat in my old garden and cried. Sent a text message to Magnus that he far from deserves from one perspective, and then again from another, he can't help if he doesn't like me. Or he doesn't like the old Emma and seem to be reluctant to find out what the New Emma is about. I like the new Emma :). And someday I hope some boy will do that too ;). I say as my dear Charlotte said, I hope that his future children will have tails.. and you can contact me for further information on the subject.

Met with Ch-chan at 2 pm and then we had lunch, followed by a trip to Yurakuchou, bought a new lens cap, for got to check for lenses for mummy. Will try to fit that in some other day. Then Ch-chan wanted us to walk to Daikinyama, I'm not really sure where it is at, but we walked in teh general direction.

At Hibuya garden, there were no garden show, no gold fish exibition, but a October fest .. in May... well never mind, we managed to avoid the beer at this stage of the evening and continiued. However, I was crusin' for one of these casas that lots of people seemed to be carring around. But no luck, no casa for Emma. But you just look at the Koi fish I found in the Ike in Hibuya koen... it was about one meter long. chouuuuu-suggggeeee!!!

And here you got a classical Japanese snap shot for your enjoyment only. Tea pavilion by the pond.

We continued our semi structured walk towards Ch-chan's flat. And all of a suddenly I screamed "I've been here before, Jörn lived just around the corner" And this I knew due to an Starbucks... Me and Magnus' had the Visit Starbucks, project last time around... And prior to that I was told by a guard not to sit on the stone wall to the department of foreign affairs... I'm not really sure that Lund doubled checked with all instances of Tokyo before approving my move...

Long time no seen friend, the neko delivery company. Their logo is super kawaii, that means super cute in Japanese. I soooo want a T-shirt with their logo on!

Ch-chan was super cute he too, and played with me all evening. He showed me parts of Tokyo I actually haven't been to before. But in the end I was unable to help him to some special request... My mission failed... DAMN

Text messaging D-chan, :) double chinned, but who cares? Anna? when I'm with you I can hardly hold my fire... Anna, tender moments with you always... Just look at those curls, my friend...

Playing with Ch-chan, a little bit worried about the photos he has of me, doing Yoga exercises on his floor... :)

And then I want to tell you about jetlag depression, you know that it is induced by messed up times, but still you don't really feel no meaning to go on. Cried until I shocked. Chatted with Magnus, was kinda futile. Talked to my dear friend L and that was nice, and then as a super bonus the boy that seem to care for me most called and asked me how I was doing. D-chan is a little darliling.

And then some other general information, Eero, I walked past the store where you should buy your uniform for our special day in tokyo. :) Did not go into the store so I do not know if they got the whole shi-bang. And I need to figure out an outfit that will match yours... well ya'll know me. I want to top you off, and off and off ;). Please come whit suggestion how to match the uniformed marvelous....

Well finally, long day tomorrow... lots of fun lined up... will live you for a few hours now... have fun.. tomorrow.. hopefully, roller coaster and suspicious stores in Akihabara...
