Friday - Cannot Pick the best

But to be honestly, the last one is the only one that is remotly close to being good...

Scary - part 2

This was the start, I do not know what to do to beat this... but this is my attempt

I ain't scary - I'm just good lookin'!

Missing...

I went too far, yes I came too close
I drove away the one that I loved the most
Now I ride the tight on a boat made of sand
I’m sailing for another to guide me to land

And lead me into the night
Please drive away the light
Cause I’ve been blinded by glitter and gold
My eyes need to rest from this light
And sleep well at night

I traveled east and I traveled west
And I found a boy with a heart on his chest
I ran a ground my ship left to rust
Yes I found a guide in the city of lust

To lead me into the night
Oh please drive away the light
Although my mother will never understand
I walk with him away from the light
And into the night

Oh you, you, you, it’s got to be you
Oh you, oh you, it’s got to be you
True, true, it’s true it’s got to be you
Oh you, oh you, it’s got to be you

To lead me into the night

Well I went too far and I came too close
I drove away the first one and now he’s the coast
And I went to drift on a boat made of sand
It was leaking like a sift but I made it to land

It leads me into the night
He drives away in the light
He makes the darkness seem bright
And walks with me into the night
Away from the light

目黒から新木場まで

I only took 3 photos of him, so this is as good as it gets. He is pretty when he smiles.

Not odaiba, but the park next to Disneyland.

iPhone photo, surprisingly good.

耳の問題

There is a first for everything, they say... except for things like you never do, but well, there is a potential first, so .... anyways. Last Friday I woke up with a warm, painful, pressure sensation in my right ear. Later the pain started to spread to the jaw also, making it difficult to eat. Monday, the pain was going, but it felt like there were water in my ear that would not get out, and I could not hear properly. Finally, yesterday I got too annoyed, and did a first. Visit a Japanese clinic. First I went to Sony's own doctor, but got transferred to proper ear clinic instead. The doctor looked in my ear, and said, we need to do hearing test. Okay said Emma. The measure how flexible your eardrum is test, worked fine on left ear... but was not good at all on right. And it was concluded that fluid was present in my inner ear... We would like to remove it, the doctor said... can it go away by itself, Emma asked. Very difficult, doctor said. So, how do you plan to remove it then, Emma asked. We will make a small hole in your eardrum, doctor said. Sounds painful, Emma said. Not painful, doctor said. We have a very good local anesthetics method, but it takes about 45 min. (at that point I have already been away from the office 4 hours).

The method involves cooling gel, some type of foam, an electrode down your ear, another attached to your arm with a wet napkin in between... Some ionisation should do the wonder... I started thinking about why the hell I went to Japan in the first place. I'm not big on electricity, there is nothing fun about it. On the other hand, ear drum piercing with out pain relief is probably even less fun. However, with pain relief it was pretty entertaining. I heard the needle go trough, and then cluck cluck cluck... sound when the fluid slipped out. I laughed a bit... I got a bag full of drugs and a "come visit tomorrow again". I'm currently doing the antihistamines, the "hanamizu" (nose water) reduction tablets and the ear drops.

And since it was so much fun yesterday, I went today again. There is this system where you book on the Internet and get a queue number, and an approx. time for your appointment. It was fun. What wasn't that fun was then they vacuumed out even more fluid, I guess my ear drum still had a hole in it. Seems like there is a little bit more fluid inside, but mostly outer ear that is swollen now, because if I pull it, I can hear again... :) So hopefully, the ear drum is not completely messed up, and the outer ear will get a grip and go back to its normal size soon. And the drum should heal with in a few weeks. However, the ear drop probably went through the system, since I felt them in my throat.

And no need to feel super bad for me, no fever, and it does not hurt, just a bit uncomfortable. But I needed a little "gift" since I'm not feeling well... so here it is... it will ionize my hair instead of ear...

秋の休み

Today I took the day off, to just hangout with myself. I prepared for today, yesterday, be sleeping most of the day. This morning I woke up around 9 and actually felt like I wanted to get out of bed. I went for a walk in Shinjuku and visit Shinjuku goen, which several years since last time. The weather is not super, but now after a few hours out doors, I can continue reading Embracing Defeat.

I have much more to write about, but since I have not had break fast yet and starting to get slightly dizzy due to this fact, I will grab some lunch now.
