Evening Walk at Omotesando

Pancake Breakfast

And Darjeeling tea, which apparently is an afternoon tea, that should be served in your finest china; the most important meal of the day was ruined.

How to spend a Saturday

Have a look at the 8.8m long tapeworm in Meguro.

Get a more colourful back... The "you handle pain very well" does not apply to the skin on top of my shoulder blades. The last 30 min of the 3 hours, were not relaxing at all...

Have dinner at Franklin Ave's but forget to take photos of it. Then meet up with Tom in Ebisu.

Take photos of yourself in a mirror at Amerikan Bashi.
And finally; I call it the shroud of Tokyo.

Freedom Odaiba

There have been lots of photos before, but now I were there again. Lovely summer evening on Odaiba.

Food, and not mine...

Uncle Tom fiddling white his tobaco...

Mr Waite drinking beer...

Same man trying not to laugh at the photos I took of him... he still has 2 more days of jetlag to blame... after that.. No more miss nice Emma..

Octopus god of Ebisu

But it was too dark for that to get cought on film. But pizza was good, beer was drinkable and company was very enjoyable. And then there were some champagne to round it off...
And that was as close a photo Mr Waite got today... I will still blame jet lag and not the "I look slightly retarded in 80% of photos, but then really hot in the remaining 20%" syndrome, that others I know suffer from.

Gotokuji

If I owned a shrine that claimed to be the origin of the manekineko, I would definitely work with that a bit more... a bit more than putting up 3 shelves of white waving cats... my hallway is more of a shrine for them than that.

At least they had a lion with a golden glob too...

And then there were a few unbloggable photos of a super jet lagged boy... he was a good sport though, did not complain even though... sleep deprivation was close at hand.

Royal Wedding on the Telly

Touristiness

Went to 江戸東京博物館、long time since last. Still mostly impressed by the wood prints.

Photo of AK, taking a photo of me...

Kabuki statue at the museum.

Not Kabuki statue at the museum.

中央線 back to 代々木、and then just had to walk through the park home. So many pretty flowers at the moment.

Football Evening

My focus was elsewhere, but then again... Kamerun was not playing :)

Big hands... if he only could stop playing with computers and do some real work instead... and small beer... :)

So we went to this bar..

Had a few pints of cider... or beer ... now ... bed time :)

Colourless Still

It is signed...

Now my Japan expire date say 2011-06-29; the anxiety of having to move back have temporarily been suspended... a few more months of Tokyo for Emma.

And also, Daniel gets to stay at least 6 months more in my flat. Thank you Brf!

People's Republic of China #2

The hotel lobby would not have been to Tatiana's liking...

They had ran out of single rooms, so I got a twin room. Felt almost as big as my Tokyo flat...

Are you having a party? No, I was having lunch with 2 of the 3 coolest ladies at Beijing office. Ailing and Fiona... not sure what Xiu did during this lunch... Woked spinach, Tofu, shrimps, pineapple rice and fried oysters... As long as you stay away from meat and whole fishes, you are pretty okay in China. This was sooo tasty.

Classical Swedish Chinese restaurant dish; fried bananas with ice-cream, sprinkles and sparklers.... This is as close as I got this time. Lotus root, filled with sweet rice and.. yes you can see them... sprinkles... very classy.

And then, Fredrik and Martin that made the evenings full of fun conversations and lots of cheap beer. At this semi-Irish pub, I got mistaken for being Irish by a Yorkshire man. Next evening a semi-sober man started speaking Dutch to me, since he thought he noticed a Dutch accent when I spoke.... I think I really need to get an accent coach, because this is getting plain silly.
