Tenmasa in Marunouchi Bld

Very nice b-day dinner with Itoko-chan today, and I got pretty halloween flowers too. And we also got extra desert and a little sake box from the resturant as a gift.

B-day gifts from Sweden

The package was retrieved from the mail box, and now it was opened too. Jeans (that I actually fitted), lots of chocolate (which probably will make me not fit the jeans) and a very cute cover for my iPhone...

Thank you!

Old Road to Kyoto

Before returning to Tokyo, we walked a bit (3km x2) along the old road between Tokyo and Kyoto, and concluded pretty quickly that if we have lived back then, we would have tried to stayed in either town and not move too much between then.

I tried Amasake (sake with sweet milky rice stuff), I was not overly impressed.

...and some of the food

The Onsen

Lake Ashinoko and 2 not so scenic views of Mt Fuji

If you have a beautiful lake, with stunning mountain views around, you should most definitely try and get hold of a pretend historical sailing ship in steel. This will add that little extra touch of "But why??"  to your lake.

Some other less out of place boats.

Not so sure if it is a hotel or what it is, and cannot be bothered to look it up.

Fujisan was really shy both today and yesterday, but at least I got two photos where you can see him a bit.

Hakone Open Air Art Museum

Little guy a bit scared of the big guy. "Scary!!!" at least that's what he kept shouting, but still continue standing in front of the bull.

The sun was with us for the first part of the day.

Carl Milles - Pegasus and Man.

Only for 12 years and younger, if you wanted to play with the nets - stupid nets anyway.
