Nomikai with Emil

Mr Emil and lovely-laughter-Horiguchi-san.

And Mr D, came along too.

And there were Japanese food too.

And then a few hours later, Mr Marcel joined at Agave... Mr Perfect according to the waitress...

Sunday and Animals

A turtle in the sun.

And we walked along a little brook where the kids where fishing crayfish. Now we know where to get them for the planned August Crayfish party.

A little bit of wilderness in Tokyo.

A very uncooperative herron. Daniel wanted to throw stones at it to get it to move, I suggested he should climb the balcony and catch it.

Secret Taste of Love

It seems like love taste like grapefruit mixed with tropical fruits, is it a secret?

The Snapper with mash at lunch time did perhaps not taste like love, but it was pretty good (especially the mash).

JF's B-day

So, we were told that it was Johan's B-day.

There was lots of really tasty food. And we got to bbq some of it. (and people seem to enjoy it)

These little squids were really tasty... never ever thought I would say a thing like that. But they were, I promise you.

Live clams were put on the fire. They opened up, and the shop lady showed us how to handle it.

Yoko-chan was a good sport, and tried to cook the clams (using the tools and all), but did not succeed completely.

Fried garlic - sooooo good.

So, I did not try this. And I know this is like classical izakaya food... but sorry, it looks seriously oishi-ku-nai!

So, if you catch a big fish, and did not bring your camera. What do you do? (textile colour and some pressure??)

I suspect that they did call each other before going out this evening... and then Johan got excited when Dan told him about custom made shoes in Shanghai...

And before things got out of hand, everyone went home. Me and Daniel had one last drink at Night-Fly and then Saturday slipped into Sunday..

Greatest Burger

First time, but it was OK.

David, Daniel, Da Erlö & Dickinson - Last Night's Nomikai

All good - we had it under control. Red bar was closed, piano bar was open.

Passport-ing and after rain comes sun...

Even with a crappy iPhone camera, if the sun is strong enough. Yesterday, I went to the Swedish embassy to extend 更新 my passport. I'm indecisive about the area where the embassy is, lots of green, lots of cool buildings, but felt kind of impersonal. This building was cool though.

And this evening, an evening after a warm sunny morning, a lunch by the canal, and a thunder stormy afternoon - Tokyo at is most beautiful, summer evenings.

むげん

Dinner with Daniel and David at Mugen. David did not like the goya or the red lettuce. Daniel ate everything.

Summer Saturday

Saturday started with brunch at Good Honest with Daniel and David. Then walking back to Yoyogi, for a few hours of relaxing on the grass, with some pink bubbly wine. Please note the very classy ice bucket (2 plastic bags, one bag of ice, some water).

Metropolitan Polish Department on Pink concrete.

Tweeting Daniel.

Hikarie building has finally opened.

Night Fly:ing

The house guest had a short break in his intensive tango schedule and we made dinner plans. Unfortunately, the Shanghai tripper did not make it back in time, but we managed to find some food, and then a quick drink at Night Fly.

Skypeing Aron

Aron has "prickar" on his belly and called to demo them.

Benedict Brunch and Franc Franc

...and quite a lot of rain, although it got better after lunch.
