Went out for dinner and drinks in Malmö with Mr Johnson, Mr M, Itoko-chan, Kosa, Imai-san and Mashiko-san and another guy named something I don't remeber. Very educational conversations.

Heat sensor vision

Do cats have that? Aron knows that it is warm to cuddle up with me when i come out of the shower and comes running towards me. Never missing a chance to be close to me. Stealing body heat he is, but that's okay, being super kawaii and all. Besides, it works both ways.

Saturday afternoon in Malmö

Loneliness is better when you’re not alone

What would you say if I asked of you
- out of loneliness, out of loneliness
What would you say if I asked of you
- out of loneliness, out of loneliness
Could I be with you
Can I be with you

It’s warm inside the night club
Your face is lit up by a disco light
I don’t want to go home alone, not tonight
I have a picture of a man who used to sit in that chair
I will go anywhere
Just as long as I’m with someone
You will do, just take me home for tea

If I told you my stories and sang you my songs
Would you laugh at me
Would you pity me
What would you say if I asked of you
Not out of accident, out of loneliness
Would you shelter me
Will you shelter me

I will be gone when you wake up
No awkward breakfasts, I swear
And don’t you look for me, because I could be anywhere
In someone else’s house
In someone else’s arms
With someone else to warm the pain away

What can I ask of you
What would you want from me
What would you say if I just fell asleep

November Rain

This is how it works
You're young until you're not
You love until you don't
You try until you can't
You laugh until you cry
You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe
Until their dying breath

No, this is how it works
You peer inside yourself
You take the things you like
And try to love the things you took
And then you take that love you made
And stick it into some
Someone else's heart
Pumping someone else's blood
And walking arm in arm
You hope it don't get harmed
But even if it does
You'll just do it all again

And on the radio
You hear November Rain
That solo's awful long
But it's a good refrain

(On the Radio, Regina Spector)

Painfully Pretty

For some nothing good has come from this day, for others it been the beginning of something new, something that will last a life time. The latter was caught by my camera. I hope she will enjoy the photos of the process. The former was not caught at all, but I did my best to help see things from another view. Watched The Da Vinci Code and had some popcorn.

Walking home on empty streets, singing out loud to the tunes on the ipod. No rain, no wind, just me and the night. Don't want to go to sleep. Orange juice and the computer in my kitchen. Tomorrow morning is closing in. There is so much left to do, and so little left of today. Today have turned into tomorrow almost an hour ago. No stress, but things that I really would like to do. Cuddling with cats, surfing the web, reading a book, doing some cross word puzzles, and episode of American Dad on DVD. Well better get to it.

Macified

Had enough crap from my pc at work. Hope this helps.

Warning

WARNING
When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people's gardens
and learn to spit.

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
and eat three pounds of sausages at a go
or only bread and pickles for a week
and hoard pens and pencils and beer nuts and things in boxes.

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
and pay our rent and not swear in the street
and set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.

But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple. (Jenny Joseph)

Me and Anna had the discussion on how long it was okay to dress up like a teenage girl, and came to the conclusion that as long as the people at Systembolaget kept asking for identification, it was okay. Then I talked to Mr D, and I had to admit that when they stop asking I will start using the "I'm old enough to wear what ever I like rule" instead. And that was when I got this poem from him.

Thank y’all for a lovely weekend

Some weekends you just stay at home doing nothing really, others you go out with a few friends on Saturday night. And then there are weekends like this one; full of activities, surprises and good friends. Let me tell you about my weekend.

Friday evening: Went to tapas bar to celebrate mum’s 50th birthday. Had a nice wine, good tapas, and ice-cream. This accompanied with fun conversations with close family. After this I went over to Mr M’s place and hung out for a while.

Saturday: Woke up, stayed in bed for a long time. Got up, went to Espresso House for breakfast with Mr M. Got picked up and driven to Mamö, where a Go-cart competition took place. It was the first time and it was lots of fun. This was part of my birthday gift from my friends. Then there was a three course vegitarian dinner waiting for me at one of the friends place. Got kinda late so Lajneea stayed over night at my place.

Sunday: Was surprised by a trip to a spa in Ystad. Tried Pilates, Floating, and massage. Played in the pool, relaxed in the Jacuzzi, got hot in the sauna and chilled down in the 10 degree water. 10-16 full day with friends. And to round off the whole weekend I went out for dinner with another friend. Now it is half past 10, and I’m in bed, writing and chatting. All relaxed and ready to take on the new week.

Once again thank you all for making this a weekend to remember.

Pretty Birthday ice cream.

Photo taken by myself, of myself tied up in paper ribbons. No strings attached, just tied up.

Remember, you are not the things you buy - "skitsnack" (BS) said Mr M.

In the Mood

My dad proudly showing off his mood ring.

- Have you seen one before? he asked.

- Yes, on 14 year old girls, I said.

- I got a list, I got a list with all the explanations! It turnes yellow if you're stressed. I'm so happy I found one that fits me, never seen one before, he said.

-Good for you, good for you dad. Can i blog that?

Nought degrees Kelvin

How can it be so cold in here. It's like Greenland in here. We've got to get some booze. It's the only solution to this intense cold. Something's got to be done. We can't go on like this. I'm a trained actor reduced to the status of a bum. I mean look at us! Nothing that reasonable members of society demand as their rights! No fridges, no televisions, no phones. Much more of this and I'm going to apply for meals on wheels.

What happened to your cigar commercial?

That's what I want to know. what happened to my cigar commercial. What happened to my agent? Bastard must have died.

September. Bad patch.

Rubbish. Haven't seen Gylgod down the labour exchange. Why doesn't he retire.

Look at this little bastard. Boy lands plumb role for top Italian director. Of course his does. Probably on a tenner a day and i know what for: Two pound ten a tit and a fiver for his arse.

Have you been at the controls!?

What are you talking about?

The thermostats. what have you done to them?

I haven't touched them.

Then why has my head gone numb. I must have some booze. I demand to have some booze.

--------------

Scientific breakthrough; temperature below absolute zero has been registered this morning on my way to work. "Well, what a to-do. I'll turn the world thermostat down to nought degrees Kelvin." "Minus 273 degrees Centigrade?" "You been at the physics books again?" Yesterday, winter struck Lund bad; no fire and ice, just wind and ice. I was not impressed, just cold. Time to gear up in winter clothes and pray for the warmer, lighter days to return.
