Had a short, and quickly planned biz trip to Tokyo. Full days spent at the office, leaving only night time for socialising. Bon Jovi sang - Sleep while I'm dead... adapted a bit to - sleep while I'm in Sweden, and I could meet up with a few of my friends.
People has asked me before "is it okay to be back in Sweden?" I have tried to be positive and a good sport, and actually convinced myself that it was kind of okay.... this was until Wednesday lunch when I stepped out of NEX at Shinagawa station and felt - HOME. (I'm sure, this too shall pass, but still I have to admit, I have been telling sweet little lies.. ).
松鶴 at first floor SONY HQ.. I was hoping for カキフライbut had to settle for 天茶。But, was not disappointed, this is what lunch should look like!
Then the team invited us out for dinner and drinks at nearby izakaya - oshikatta!
I know, some people say you shouldn't make fun of language mistakes, but .. "Suddenly, the door opens." sounds a bit too much like the first sentence in a short story... or something that Indian guy tells his friend after the encounter with ... yes we all know who.
A very nice Friday eve, with a little visit to Roppongi... and yes I had the good Tequila at Agave.
Saturday Lunch at Pure Cafe in Aoyama, very nice veggie food.
There are still some yellow ginko leaves around my old place. Had fika with the Hjort's (not sure why they did not get caught on camera...)
A week late, but finally I got to share b-day dinner with my woman in Tokyo :) Happy belated b-day, Itoko-chan! And how, I have been missing proper food and restaurants...
Not the best view in the world, but there sure is something pretty with a sunrise, and then it was time to go back to Sweden.
