Tuesday's Gone

Lillie had this idea, she wanted to make nettle soup. Since I'm not allowed to say no to things, this was a mission I couldn't pass on. Said and done. At 6.30 pm me and Lillie Rendes vous (you know what it mean, even if I can't spell it) at Södra Storgatan in Lund.

It seems like the Boss is living in a house on the way to St Lars Park.

Mittens and gloves were used as protection against the stingy hairs of the nettle. Some of us tried to eat them raw, and today's scientific studies shows that you wont get burn on your tounge. A brave studie according to Emma.

At Konsum they had this real fantastic baskets that dubbles as a trolley. Lille was amaized, and just had to use one of those, when we shopped for ingrediens.

The cat is in the bag, that was used to collect nettles.

Washing of the dirt and grit.

Vegitable stock and onion were used as the base.

Mixin' Mixin' Mixin', always keep 'em mixin'.

My pussies like the white cream.

Poached eggs; the best I ever had.

Well not all of them made it to the soup bowl, some ended up in the cat bowl.

Dekita! Look how green and good it is!.

It was the first time I made nettle soup and the first time I ate it. It is very nice I must say. And picking nettles, making soup and eating it together with a good friend, is a very nice way to spend a Tuesday evening, a Tuesday that almost is gone.

Det ser ju jättegott ut. Kanske man kan beställa det till nästa gång vi ska ha bokträgg hos dig.
Du och Lillie kan väl gå en gång till och plocka så kan du ju frysa in de små nässlorna. Längtar redan tills dess.
Kram
