Will it be let back in?

If a car leaves Iceland, it will never be let back into the country again. True or false?

No. It is believed that there was no import of cars to Iceland after the end of the 13th century. The only known exception to this was an experiment in the late 20th century when a Swedish Volvo 240 was brought to Iceland. This 240 was kept in isolation on the small island of Viðey and used on an experimental basis to burna and ragga. The experiment was a failure and both the 240 and the few offspring produced in it were sold abroad.

Ahh you know Icelandic history. Have you been reading Havamal?

No just a hunch it was a reference to Icelandic horses and a natural instinct to look everything up on wikipedia... Like Havamal just now. Think I would like to read it actually.
