The Self-Portrait Problems

Went out for almost an hour's walk this morning. The weather was just too nice to be indoors. And in less than an hour it is yoga. It is indeed nice to be on holiday, and actually have time to the things your body like.



My body does not like to clean the mirrors, but after trying to take a photo of myself after the walk, I realised that the mirror's dirtiness is compromising my artistic freedom... or something...

When I came back I went over to Kuniko's place, then we walked past my flat.... so I could put on some underwear and hang the wet ones up to dry. We picked up a blanket and went over to Stadsparken. First we studied some Swedish, then some Japanese and in between some English now and again. :) I really like hearing what Kuniko thinks about the Swedish language, what the thinks is strange and what is difficult and what is easy.

Then we went for a walk through town, and then some more ice cream at Per Tutti.

Lunch in Bjärred

Some one had the brilliant idea of bringing lunch out to the beach. Although we were one meal short it turned out when we got there. But after some sharing it all worked out well.

I thought there might be some dipping foot in sea activity going on, so I brought a towel. However, I did not expect there to be a dip the whole of Emma, so no bikini was brought. Bra and panties work for a fast dip.

I was not as cold as expected in the water. Felt rather good.

But it felt even better to wrap up in the towel.

Ah, the wimpy boys that did not dare to go into the water. Only Linus, and I were brave enough.

And then we finished off with some ice-cream. Before going back.

Cats in Kattarp

Lovely weather today. And I spent most of the day outside in Kattarp on the lawn with the cats. I have managed to get a "bonna-bränna" (don't know if it is called "farmers burn" but if it isn't it darn well should so, here we go) I have a farmers burn. Me and mum went for a walk and cut 2 min off her best time.

Baby sister and baby Aron. Well he actually turned 3 today. We have not celebrated that much.

Summer is on its way. I was walking barefoot on the lawn in Kattarp today. It feels really nice being grounded that way.

Lots of tadpoles. A few have started growing hind legs, but most of them are just hanging about.

Baby sister was annoyed by their tendency to get entangled in the green slimy seaweed. And had to sort it out for them.

Yes, two cows eating away on grass... or wait it is Aron and Mint cutting down the greenery at my parents place.

With Anna at the Vet

Anna joined me to the vet with Aron and Mint, for their vaccinations. She even drove us there, and then took lots of photos of the cats when they were examined. Hopefully you can see them on her blog soon.

Both cats and Anna behaved well, except for some screaming in the car, but they were cute anyway.

Yoga

I've heard that it is important to sometime trying to see things from a different perspective; this is me from underneath. Yoga class was good today, not so good as Friday when I was glowing.

Sitting outside eating dinner was very nice, but it was kinda cold for the parts that were not in the sun. So we had to do some heating up afterwards.

Baked potatoes with shrimps and a beer; the sun warming up our faces and relaxing company. A good afternoon indeed. I'm truly blessed with such wonderful friends as Jessica and Linnea.

Started off with Yoga this morning at 10, then went shopping with the Takinami's, and then home started a batch of laundry and the dish washer, did some reading, baked scones. Then Linnea came and we went running to S:t Lars and back. And now we're to fika with Jessica.

Very nice dinner with Kuniko and Takinami. The food tasted almost Japanese. We learned that Kuniko inte är en fegis, since she was brave enough to order the Chawan mushi.

First time

Rays of sun lured him to use the Fatboy for the first time. Finally, my 1000 SEK investment paid off.
