小石川楽園 Koishikawa Rakuen Garden

Was too lazy again to bring the proper camera, so quality could have been better. Went for a walk Harajuku-gaienmae-Yotsuya-Ichigaya-Iidabashi to Koishikawa Garden. Unfortunately, the best koi-spotting spot was closed of for some type of maintenance work, but there were beautiful irises, water lilies to enjoy instead. And managed to see a few koi too, and a very curious turtle.

Koishikawa garden, is the best iris viewing park in Tokyo, at least that I know of. Starting to be pretty late in the season for them now though. Next big thing will be lotus, and even though they have a small lotus pond in koishikawa, it has nothing on the one in Ueno.
