It was either that or hiring a shinto priest to perform exorcism on the old ones. And since I know the building policy about keeping pets, I suspect releasing evil spirits in the flat is not appreciated.
Some people should be extra happy that I went with the 'buy new ones' option, people like mother and Aron. Franc Franc had things for them too.
