Got candy from maeba-chan. :) とても美味しかった、kexchoklad の味みたい。'おいしさのポイント’ the monkey informs us a few pointers why the candy is so tasty; indeed very nice of him.

竹の子の里 (take no ko no sato) The village of the Bamboo sprouts. This is the inner bag of the candy, and I cannot but agree with Gwen S., it is easy to get 'addicted to cuteness'.

Missing Charlotte

It is difficult not to, but I have wondered for sometime, if the day someone died is a day you should remember; or should one just try and ignore it? There are so many other days, even if they now feel like they were too few, that is so much more important to remember. In a way, a think I want to punish this day by ignoring it, a perhaps childish attempt to try and even the scores with this April 7, for I know all too well the importance of this day; the day her heart stopped beating and I was bereaved a friend.

When I think back to the spring of last year, and looking at the photos of then, it both feel like it was a very long time ago and that it was yesterday. I have changed, things around me have changed and so much have happened, but still everything feel the same.

Cats and Flowers

Normal cat photos are pretty easy if you have cats like mine, but trying to get close up with a macro lens is easier than done. They never seem to be completely still, and when they are not moving then you are. Flowers stay where you put them, but not so much fun.






Now it is time for some PSP playing, and then finish reading that God Delusion book.

Sorry for that. :). Aron was out this morning biting away on the grass. Went to the flower shop and got me some flower for one of the balcony pots. Feels kinda strange, to plant this year, since I hopefully wont be around for things to bloom.

Morning Coffee

Newly baked Scones and Coffee for breakfast today. And I also found out that my smoke detector alarm is overly sensitive. I think it will go off if someone as much as whisper the word smoke underneath it. Which, I guess, is really rather good.

Catling

In medieval Britain, the word kitten was interchangeable with the word catling.

Got caught on wikipedia to day, and on an article about domestic cats. And I came across this super cute word; catling. Which of very close to "källing", but I think we should change back to Katling instead.

Last night baby sister was over to drop off some books, and asked, if I had time for a quick facial. And who hasn't? Aron and Mint sniffed all the products, while I was exfoliated, hydrated, deep cleaned; the whole deal.

Intergalactic For those of you with knowledge of the local area, it is Shinjuku and Shibuya that is used for backdrop in the song... at least according to Wikipedia... my first guess was Shinbashi, but that is a rather small station.

Experimental Cooking Is Back

It turned out great. 2 eggs, 1/2 dl polenta, 1/2 dl milk, some baking soda, fresh basil, 1/2 dl corn, 1/3 onion, salt, black pepper, rosemary. vbJust mix it together and fry it like an omelette or pancake. Use pretty low heat, so it gets warm all the way through and then turn it over (helps if land it on a plate in between), and fry a few min on the other side. Fast and above expectations. The amounts above is good for one person, or maybe two if you serve half a pancake with a mixed green salad.

Aston's Sleeping

Stefan got a son two weeks ago, and this is him; little baby Aston. I was allowed to carry him around for a while. Emma and Aston

Sushi Lunch Outside

Had lunch outside in the sun, together with Daniel and Linus today. Spring is in the air, and the living is easy. We tried to come up with some April Fools jokes, but no good results.

Idag när jag vaknade hade jag fått ett SMS som fick mig att le. Någon som jag bryr mig väldigt mycket om, kom ihåg samma minne som jag gjorde. På vägen till jobb var det vår i luften, solen sken och jag kände mig glad, lugn och närvarande, tiden liksom hejdade sig ett slag. Lite senare skedde något oväntat, någon var på väg till sjukhuset i ambulans och en stund senare fick jag höra att hans kropp inte orkade längre. I dag förändrade sig världen, för mig lite grann, men jag tänker och känner för honom som jag bryr mig väldigt mycket om, och för hans familj, för dom som världen aldrig mer blir den samma.
